The Impact of HIV/Aids has resulted in many children being left as orphans.
Some are being cared for by elderly grandparents, some by a single unemployed parent, while others exist as
child-headed families. The economic plight of these children is heartbreaking.
They have no income and very little to eat.
We have been provided with a list of basic food items necessary to sustain a family of 4 - for 2 weeks.
This would cost ZAR120 per food parcel. (Approximately AUD$25)
